GALVET LACTIVET DRINK
(Lactic acid 50% dark)

PROPERTIES:

Lactic acid occurs naturally in many food products and in the tissues of living organisms, and therefore its use in animal nutrition and the preservation of fodder is justified. Lactic acid is completely absorbed and metabolized in the animal body.

Lactic acid Lactivet Drink added to feed improves their taste, which makes them willingly ingested by animals.

USE:

For poultry feeding, we use a 0.2% lactic acid solution Lactivet Drink, which is obtained after mixing 1 kg of 50% lactic acid.
with 250 liters of water. The solution prepared in this way should be administered with drinking water when the feed is changed, in the case of diarrhea or in the event of loss of appetite.

In feeding pigs, we use lactic acid in the form of a 1% solution as an additive to dry fodder. A 1% solution is obtained after
mixing 1 kg of 50% lactic acid with 50 liters of water.
When administered with drinking water, we use a 0.5% solution (0.5 kg of 50% lactic acid per 50 liters of water). For pigs, we can also
give lactic acid with milk in the amount of 0.5 to 1.0 kg per 50 liters of milk.

In cattle nutrition, the daily dose is 1 ml per 5 kg of body weight, which is 50-100 ml / 1 cow / day and 30-50 ml / 1 calf / day.

FORAGE SILAGE:

Lactic acid 50% Lactivet Drink can be successfully used for fast and effective silage of forage. We make a 1% solution of lactic acid
50% (mix 1 kg of 50% lactic acid with 50 liters of water) and use this solution in the amount of:

-------- grass from field crops - 4 l per 1000 kg,
- mixtures of legumes with grasses - 6 l per 1000 kg,
--- legumes - 7 l per 1000 kg
- fodder plants - 4 l per 1000 kg
-cereal plants - 7 l per 1000 kg
-cereal grains - 3.5 liters per 1000 kg

Preparation of maize silage:

- Pour 1l of 50% lactic acid into 50l of water, use this solution for ensiling corn in the amount of 6l per 1 ton of material, for grain use half of the 3l solution.
- 1 l of acid is enough to ensilage 8.5 tons of corn
- 30l of acid is enough to ensilage 255 tons of corn

Lactic acid is produced by the lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus and is present in such products as: kefir, yogurt, sour milk, and sauerkraut. is a silage preservative. It has a bactericidal effect in the digestive tract.
