Product description:

Round insulator intended for constructing shepherds on pastures where there is already a fence made of metal posts. The insulator for metal posts is equipped with a very long pin - 16 cm with a metric thread.

These types of electric wire holders are perfect for building an electric fence on posts made of metal. In addition, they are indispensable if the shepherd will be installed on mesh fencing. By using a very long insulator thread, we can move the shepherd's electric wires far enough away from the mesh and posts. Thanks to this, we exclude the possibility of contact of the wire or electric braid with other metal elements.

The electric wire holder comes with two nuts that can be used to attach the insulator to the hole in the metal post. However, often the easiest way to install it is to thread the hole and screw the insulator directly into a post or flat bar.
The holder for metal posts is made of a material with very high dielectric parameters (isolating from electricity).
