Lawn reed fescue Tomahawk

Collar tongues, short. The leaf sheath is stiff, open and rough. Lawn forms have more delicate and thinner leaf blades than forage.
Inflorescence: panicle type, long and branching in large numbers. 4-8 flowers per spike, pointless, purple in color.
Application: the species is of great importance outside of forage. Used to a large extent for turfing special, difficult areas. It is ideal for establishing sports lawns, recreational areas and playgrounds. It is extremely resistant to mechanical damage and trampling. Strong and dense dark green turf will also be a great decoration for your home garden. It is a significant plant for strengthening slopes, slopes and embankments.
