Product description:

Electric otter shepherd kit to build a fence up to 200 m long. The offered set is an effective solution for breeders who have a problem with these pests. Otters especially like fish ponds, which are a simple food for them. It is estimated that the otter is able to eat about 2 kg of fish during the day, which is why they expose many breeders to high losses.

Protection of ponds against otters involves building an electric shepherd with appropriate parameters. The above set uses the GARD energiser, which is powered from the 220 V network. The device generates an impulse with an energy of 850 mJ, thanks to which, with short electric fences, it is effective against otters and other pests. The GARD energizers also produce a discharge voltage of 7,200 V.

It is important that the electric otter keeper prevents these pests from slipping between the fence line, so it is recommended that the gaps between the levels do not exceed 15 cm. The set includes an orange Filinox braided line in a 500 m spool. In addition to the bright color, which acts as a deterrent to pests, the braid is characterized by high durability and UV resistance. The cable is made of a weave of polyethylene threads and 3 stainless steel wires, 0.15 mm in diameter each.

The otter electric fence kit has been prepared for mounting on wooden posts. The set includes 100 insulators with a wood screw. Moreover, the Electric Otter Shepherd includes 5 Clips to connect the braid, a grounding pin and a lightning arrester that protects the energizer from lightning strikes. Everything is ready for assembly and operation. The kit comes with a 2-year warranty. The set can be modified at the customer's request.
