Product description:

Automatic feather plucking machine for poultry. The ITAL Esterina plucking machine has been designed for all types of domestic and farm birds. The machine nibbles while wet, i.e. poultry must be properly scalded for proper operation.

The device works on a similar principle to industrial machines for plucking feathers operating in slaughterhouses. The carcass should be held by the legs and gradually brought closer to the spinning roller. On the roller there are specially perforated rubber fingers which, in contact with the carcass, gradually tear feathers out of the skin. Remember to scald the carcasses in hot water for a few minutes before starting work. The water should be at a maximum temperature of 55-60 ° C for optimal performance of the plucking machine. Soaking the poultry at a higher temperature may cause the picker to tear feathers along with the skin. The picking process itself is very delicate, there is no bruising or tearing of the carcass.

The plucking machine is made of steel. The housing is additionally covered with a special powder-coated protective layer, which not only protects against corrosion, but also facilitates cleaning of the machine. The roller, on the other hand, has been galvanized, thanks to which the zinc layer protects it and at the same time prevents the feathers from sticking.
The mechanical plucker has a 350-watt 0.5 HP motor powered by 220-230V. The engine and all electrical components have been sealed in a sealed housing and isolated from the other components of the plucking machine, thus preventing the ingress of moisture into these components and the possibility of a possible voltage breakdown. The machine has the CE quality and safety certificate.

The poultry feather plier is very easy to clean. The roller is enough to rinse gently with water, while the remaining elements are cleaned with a damp cloth.
